Senior Team Awards Night

Bellurgan United Senior held its annual dinner and awards night in Fergusons Bar last night. A great way to finish up the season and a great night out for the team, coaches and partners.

Several awards and presentations were made.

Caroline Murphy from Maria Goretti Foundation receiving a cheque for €5,000 from the Ciaran Casey Weekend of Sport. Presented by Ciaran Rogan.
Brian Murphy from The Birches receiving a cheque for €1,000 from the Ciaran Casey Weekend of Sport.

Owen Armstrong (Bellurgan Utd captain) presenting Martin Finnegan with a voucher from the senior players.
Special presentation to Ciaran Rogan for is outstanding contribution to Bellurgan Utd and his retirement from playing.
Presentation to Jason McConville to thank him for his time managing our senior team.

Ciaran Sheelan receiving the Ronan Goss Memorial Shield for the NEFL team top scorer.
Ciaran Sheelan receiving the Ciaran Casey Perpetual Cup for NEFL team player of the year.
Jake McArdle receiving the John Traynor Memorial Shield for the DDL team Player of the year.
Luke Higgins receiving the Eamon Carroll Memorial Shield for the DDL team top goal scorer.

Bellurgan United would like to thank everyone involved with the senior team on another great year, also to thank everyone who attended an gave so generously to the Ciaran Casey Tournament.
